20/10/22 Nūn Art Gallery Temporarily Closed
We told you already in May that the landlord of the Nūn Art Gallery wants to sell the house, and we must leave the space. Unfortunately, we weren't able yet to find an appropriate new location. We are sad to say that we close the gallery from now on - until we have found a new place. Any recommendation is appreciated! Of course, the online sales will continue.
24/05/22 Nūn Art Gallery Retrospective 2022
From the 1st of August 2022 on, Nūn Art Gallery will present a retrospective with 40 artworks of 23 artists. There will be no opening. Whenever you are in Luxor, just pop in and enjoy! The gallery is open daily from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Still at the same place.

04/05/22 Goethe Medal 2022 Goes to Egypt
The German Goethe Medal honours personalities from all over the world who are particularly committed to international cultural exchange or teaching the German language. This year, the award goes to the multimedia artist Mohamed Abla from Egypt, the historian Tali Nates from South Africa and the two artists Nimi Ravindran and Shiva Pathak from India. We are very happy to invite you to the opening of "Thaluth", an exhibition with Nageh Alashry, Mustafa Halwachi, Med Hamad Nasr Sudany and guest of honour Ashraf Elsawy, directed by Mustafa Halwachi. You can look forward to impressive paintings, excellent sculptures and a stunning light show!

From today on until the 26th of January, in a 3-day art event Bahraini street artist Mustafa Halwachi live paints & spray-paints murals at Nūn Art Gallery at daytime and set them in different lights at night. You are cordially invited to join us!
19/01/22 Street Artist Mustafa Halwachi is back!
We are very happy that Bahraini street artist Mustafa Halwachi is back to Nūn Art Gallery & Wannas Art Café for a hopefully long visit. Currently, he creates "Another Dialogue with Hathor" using light effects to change her look. Stay tuned for more to come!

We cordially invite you to our first exhibition opening in 2022: the opening of the Woman's International Exhibition "Daughters of Hathor" on Thursday, the 13th January 2022 at 5 pm. We present to you more than 70 artworks created by 14 brillant artists from 6 countries including Antonella Leoni (Italy), Dina Shalaby (Egypt/Russia),
Galina Lenskaya (Russia),
Gina Rohrsen (Germany),
Nargish Soma (Bangladesh),
Rana Hatmal (Syria/Canada) and from Egypt: Abeer Adel,
Fatma Ramadan,
Omaima Alseesi,
Radwa Abdalmonem,
Rania Khallaf, Reem Gamal Abdel Nasser and
Shayma Kamel.
Furthermore, the "Daughters of Hathor" exhibition will feature Amona Ali, a young Bedouin woman and the first innate artist of the Beja and Ababda tribes from the Egyptian Aizab desert, who practices a very unique style of desert art.
