Double Exhibition "In the Picture" with Paintings by Abdullah Ali Butler and Sculptures by Mahmoud Mokhtar

From 17 December 2021 to 10 January 2022.

It's not just an exhibition, it's also a 6-day art event from the 7th of December until the opening of the exhibition on the 17th of December during which Abdullah Ali Butler made a painting into which the viewer will climb. The title is "In the Picture" because you can actually be inside the painting. Abdullah's co-exhibitor Mahmoud Mokhtar created sculptures for this piece. Besides that, there are many more works including a new series called "My Tomb Paintings", which draws from the Book of the Dead.

The "In the Picture" exhibition was opened on 17 December 2021, after Abdullah Ali Butler and Mahmoud Mokhtar had finished their works for the hidden room in a 6-day live event.
