Art Event with Med Hamad Nasr Sudany, Mahmoud Hawary and Nageh Alashry
On 22 April 2022, the new mural on Nageh Alashry's studio opposite Nūn Art Gallery was inaugurated with stick dance, music and many people, who celebrated with us.
Under the title Thaluth, which means Trinity and already is the title of our current exhibition, the artists Med Hamed Nasr Sudany, Mahmoud Hawary and Nageh Alashry designed a wall to bring a message of love and peace to the world. The mural combines paintings of Nageh, photographs of Mahmoud and reliefs of Med Hamad and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is the most stunning mural of Luxor.
The Trinity mural was funded by Humans of Upper Egypt and produced by BumaArt, MDSUART and Anter. Nūn Art Gallery and Wannas Art Café were the sponsors.
Later in the evening, everybody was invited for a Tahtib performance with local food and drinks. If you couldn't celebrate with us, enjoy the video, which gives you a glimpse of this joyful night.
On this occasion, we also proudly announce the cooperation with these artists and their studios for workshops and much more.
The concept of the Trinity mural was developed by Med Hamed Nasr Sudany.
