Hesham Abdel-Moaty (Hisham Abdelmoety)

Hesham Abdel-Moaty
Egyptian contemporary artist Hesham Abdelmoaty

Hesham Abdel-Moaty was born in Qalyubiyya in 1972. The multi-talented artist earned a Bachelor of Art Education from the Helwan University in Cairo in 1996. His work, which embraces sculpting, photography and painting, belongs to the expressive abstract school.

Although his artistic subjects vary Hesham cares about the major social issues of our time. He raises awareness of humanitarian issues such as illegal immigration and refugees through his suggestive and creative artworks. In that regard, he held an exhibition showcasing 24 sculptures and 30 figurative artworks.

Hesham Abdel-Moaty speaking about his art:

"Resorting to art through a painting or a statue is like searching for self eager. It's a real struggle about discovering that hidden unknown that brings happiness to the soul. At that time we realise that we were given a different ability than others, the ability to create sensory worlds that goes over us. There are many visions but this deep strange sensory communication with artwork remains the accurate thread to stay in a state of psychological levelling."
